Answer – Yes in 90% of cases we can beat the dealer by over £100 and sometimes by as much as £200 – £300 cheaper

A – Yes absolutely any Dealer can replace lost car keys. But it comes with problems.

The first is the cost of you towing your vehicle to the Dealer
Then we have to think about how long it will take them. Dealerships do not stock or cut car or van keys, they order them in from their warehouses and factories and it is the warehouse or factory that cuts the key from the VIN number (3 – 5 day wait). However lets say that at some point in the past before you owned the car it’s ignition barrel was changed but you did not know. Then the new key that the dealer has ordered will not turn in the lock All a Dealer can do at this point is to replace the ignition with another barrel, all at extra cost of course. And also taking more time in the process. You should really skip the dealer for all of the above reasons and more and simply give us a call so we can come to you and get you back on the road the same day – We really are the 4th emergency service and we will be cheaper than the dealer.

Answer – Yes and no – to start with not all key codes can be ordered from the VIN number but some can.

What happens is that we order the key number on your behalf (we will need various forms of I.D. and proof of vehicle ownership)

The key code is sent to us and we then cut your new key to the code provided. We then program your key to the vehicle using various key programming tools at our disposal.

Answer – We can get key codes from the following manufacturers

Alfa Romeo
Citroen
Chrysler
Dacia
Dodge
Fiat
Honda
Hyundai
Isuzu
Jeep
Kia
LDV
Mazda
Mitsubishi
Nissan
Peugeot
Renault
Rover / MG
Subaru
Suzuki
Vauxhall
Volvo

Answer – We will send someone to your vehicle to meet you, he will pick your lock and decode that same lock so that he knows the correct key code for your key and lock. Our colleague will then cut the correct key on his van to the code then afterwards he will program the chip and buttons to your vehicle.
